I get ramped up – giddy really – when I find a new band. I don’t know what it is – maybe just knowing that there’s a whole new body of work to explore.
The last three days, I’ve found myself grabbing my headphones, any chance I get to listen to this new band that I’m into.
I get the same way when I find a new author that I really like – I want to compulsively read everything that they’ve ever written.
Is this quirky? Or, is this normal human behavior. I know other people that don’t get this ramped up…so it makes me think that I might be something of a freak show.
I’m the same way. I love when I find a new band that I can listen to for hours and not get tired of them. I just found Vampire Weekend last night and I can’t stop listening.
If I really like an author, I get that way. Worse, I then bore my good friends with details and insist that they read my new obsess…i mean books…as well
Yeah. And I think, “how can anyone NOT love this book/band/movie/show.” Are they not paying attention?
