Moehringer called "The Tender Bar" that although isn't a favorite book of mine; I finished it in one sitting because the writing and the story-telling was fantastic! The most amazing novel I have ever read is "Lolita" by Nabokov. I was entranced by his magical use of the English language -- simultaneously prose and poetry, but not flowery.
