you know i still love Bon Jovi, so i was pleased with the preformance and was singing Livin on a Prayer along with my TV. I am also a Sugarland fan, so i enjoyed the addition of Jennifer Nettles as well.
I wish they would have talked about who all the people with DMB were...or did i miss it? He is one funky dancer though.
Taylor Swift is 20, and her naivity is what i love about her. Her music is fun, a little carefree and not all jaded and bitter, exactly how a 20 year old should be. Take for erxample her song 15, it turely takes you back to what it was like to be a teenager...we all need that reminder.
If I had to pick a rapper to listen to it would be Eminem. He is very talented, honest hard core lyrics...terrible language. I still turn the radio up if Slim Shaddy comes on though. haha!
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('433','Beth Bernard','you know i still love Bon Jovi, so i was pleased with the preformance and was singing Livin on a Prayer along with my TV.
LOVE that guitar solo...but not sure in the context that it was delivered. I may be a purist but I think it needs to be performed on top of a grand piano ala the 1992 music awards....now that was cool!
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('432','Jason Schifo','LOVE that guitar solo...but not sure in the context that it was delivered.
Aw...sad...I love country! Not that particular song (it's a little codependent-unhealthy-angsty foolishness for me), but I love everything from Randy Travis to Mary Chapin Carpenter to Dirks and Easton. My current ring tone is "A Little More Country Than That." ;) You need to go back to your roots, city boy!
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('424','Mandy','Aw...sad...I love country!
I like a bit of country - Johnny Cash, old Willie Nelson, Hank Williams (Sr. not Jr.), Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, - guys like that.

I didn't have the discipline to watch the whole thing. I actually went high-brow and watched Larry the Cable Guy's new comedy special on Comedy Central while quizzing my daughter for the spelling bee.

Didn't care for Taylor Swift, Pink freaked me out, loved Green Day and Bon Jovi with Jennifer Nettles. checked out of the rest.

The Grammys became a kind of insiders, artistically incestuous gathering for Big-corporate Music many moons ago. It's for folks who still think the good music is on the radio or in their local Coconuts music store.
